Questions

What do I need to enter the Philippines?
British passport holders can visit visa-free for 30 days. You need six months left on your passport, an onward ticket, and a free eTravel registration completed within 72 hours before arrival. If you are travelling on another passport, check the rules for your nationality.
Should I download Grab?
Yes. Grab is the easiest way to book a car in Cebu and Manila, and it also handles food delivery. Set up the app before you fly; rides can be paid for in cash or in the app.
How do I get from Cebu airport to the resort?
Mactan-Cebu International is on the same island as the resort, about 15 minutes away. Grab picks up at the airport; follow the pickup point shown in the app. The hotel can also arrange a transfer, and taxis are available at the terminal.
Will I need cash?
Bring or withdraw some Philippine pesos for small purchases and as a fallback. Cards are fine at the resort, and Grab supports both cash and cashless payment.
What will the weather be like?
February is dry season, the best time of year to be there. Expect around 30°C in the day, mid-20s at night, and very little rain. Humid.
Is there anything else happening that week?
We're in Cebu from Thursday the 18th and in Manila from Tuesday the 23rd. The itinerary has the full picture if you're planning either side of the wedding.
