Questions
- What do I need to enter the Philippines?
- British passport holders can visit visa-free for 30 days. You need six months left on your passport, an onward ticket, and a free eTravel registration completed within 72 hours before arrival. If you are travelling on another passport, check the rules for your nationality.
- Should I download Grab?
- Yes. Grab is the easiest way to book a car in Cebu and Manila, and it also handles food delivery. Set up the app before you fly; rides can be paid for in cash or in the app.
- How do I get from Cebu airport to the resort?
- Mactan-Cebu International is on the same island as the resort, about 15 minutes away. Grab picks up at the airport; follow the pickup point shown in the app. The hotel can also arrange a transfer, and taxis are available at the terminal.
- Will I need cash?
- Bring or withdraw some Philippine pesos for small purchases and as a fallback. Cards are fine at the resort, and Grab supports both cash and cashless payment.
- What will the weather be like?
- February is dry season, the best time of year to be there. Expect around 30°C in the day, mid-20s at night, and very little rain. Humid.
- Is there anything else happening that week?
- We're in Cebu from Thursday the 18th and in Manila from Tuesday the 23rd. The itinerary has the full picture if you're planning either side of the wedding.
